is sick.

I loved it.

Robert Rodriguez really serves up the goods. It’s violent, stylized and simply put, a great film. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. All of the performances ranging from the versatile cast, which includes Michelle Rodriguez, Robert De Niro, Steven SeagalJessica Alba and Danny Trejo (who plays the title role fantastically) are on point. I’m loving the roles Alba has been choosing as of late and Michelle Rodriguez always delivers in what she does.

Intestines…YUCK. That’s all I’m gonna say.

The film is not just a victory for Rodriguez, or for Danny Trejo, but it marks a significant moment in Lindsay Lohan’s career. Her role (although smaller than that of Michelle Rodriguez and Jesssica Alba) has been met with praise, with her co-star Jessica Alba calling her a “brilliant actress” and director Robert Rodriguez being so impressed by her performance that he’s hinted at a spin-off movie for her character.

Let’s hope this can be THAT turning point she needs to get back on track…
