One would think that I would have reached my burger limit when I was out in LA, but little over a week after being back in London, where do I find myself? DIRTY BURGER. The burger shack, born from the Soho House collective, boasts a small, pop-up-shop vibe and a very simple menu. There’s one burger and two options for the sides. However, the menu does not need to be extensive because this burger is delicious. It’s juicy, it’s messy, it’s DIRTY. The onion fries are crispy (but perhaps slightly too peppery to eat a whole portion) and the crinkle cut fries compliment the burger wonderfully, soaking up all of the meat’s juices. The shakes are a good shout for something sweet and in general it’s definitely an experience as you sit perched on the stools and cram round the one table standing in the middle of the room. It becomes clear as I sit staring around at the furnishings that this burger joint does not need to be stylish, fancy or even well, furnished. The rich, flavoursome food does all the talking. Oh and it’s extremely affordable!
