Saturday 23rd June = the first day of BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend 2012 and it saw numerous acts take to the tents and rock the main stage, as the thousands of people danced, drank and ate themselves happy. As expected Jay-Z smashed his set, bringing out Rihanna on the opening “Run This Town”, M.I.A. to perform her hit “Paper Planes” and new single “Bad Girls” and of course, none other than Kanye himself, to perform a medley of tracks off of Watch The Throne.
Emeli Sandé was the first act I caught of the day, offering flawless vocals, while D’banj provided one of the most entertaining sets with his showmanship, style and his female dancers! will.i.am came onto stage with a digital head, that appeared to be made out of iPads and Annie Mac served up a seriously solid set of tunes.

I love the blue, green and teal tones that these two were rocking. Top photos; stylist to the stars, Cobbie Yates, who was looking FRESH. Below: a music fan, opting for a sleeveless denim jacket (a personal favourite of mine).
