I don’t understand how people are STILL sleeping on Ms Janelle Monáe. She is incredible. From her vocals to her stage presence, her music to her style, she oozes charisma, has the dance moves to match and is just effortless, refreshing and beautiful. I had the pleasure of seeing her play live in London over two years ago now and I was blown away. I bump both her EP and album all the time and she is simply, in my opinion, one of the greatest artists of these modern music times. I eagerly await her sophomore record – I cannot wait to hear what she cooks up. If you haven’t heard The ArchAndroid – get yourself a copy ASAP. It’s a gem.
