Song of the week

This week I’ve been bumping Ms Nelly Furtado’s new single BIG HOOPS (BIGGER THE BETTER), which is off of her upcoming album “The Spirit Indestructible”. It is a dope track. From the beat to the bass and of course Furtado’s distinct vocals, it’s good to have her back with some fresh music. I’m a big Furtado fan. “Loose” is one of my favourite albums, partly because it reminds me of some great memories, but also due to the fact that it is packed full of bangers. So, I’m very much looking forward to hearing her new album in its entirety. For now though, this song will have to suffice.

Rihanna’s WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN dropped on Monday and I have to say, it’s easily one my favourite clips from the singing model. I’m even loving the Solange-esque vibe that she rocks from 1.30. If you’re yet to see it (well, where have you been?), check it out below…

Film of the week

Okay, so this week’s film isn’t a recommendation or a review. It’s an EVERYONE-MUST-GO-AND-SEE-THIS-WHEN-IT-COMES-OUT post. The new THE DARK KNIGHT RISES trailer was released online this week and it really does make me very, very happy. I cannot wait.
