Today = the twenty first issue of SCOUTS SHOUTS, where I blog about my favourite song of the week, my album of the week, film of the week…you get the idea. Be sure to check back every Thursday to see what’s hot that week.
Film of the week
This week I went to the London premiere of THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN and I absolutely loved it! Spielberg’s direction is fantastic, the effects are phenomenal and it was just a really fun, family-friendly film that ticked all the right boxes. Based on Hergé’s comic series, the film stays true to his original vision. It had mystery, adventure, humour and twists & turn in typical Tintin fashion and it was truly exciting to see how technology has advanced so much. The motion capture was immense. Definitely go and watch it!
Song of the week
DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE are all sorts of awesome. They remind me of when I used to listen to their albums on the bus on my way to school…long summers chilling out, being young and having fun, being silly, the sun, making memories with my good friend Clara. For now, enjoy the tune of the week…SOUL MEETS BODY.
I saw this in the comments under the video and thought it was so true…
Good music isn’t a style, it’s a feeling that it gives you.
