Today = the nineteenth issue of SCOUTS SHOUTS, where I blog about my favourite song of the week, my album of the week, film of the week…you get the idea. Be sure to check back every Thursday to see what’s hot that week.
Album of the week
Ryan Leslie’s self-titled album is this week’s ‘album of the week’. I love it. There’s plenty of tunes (DIAMOND GIRL, QUICKSAND), plenty of beats (I-R-I-N-A) and it’s just a great R&B record, produced solely by Mr Leslie himself. I still think he’s so underrated.
Love the rock version of this…

Film of the week
MIDNIGHT IN PARIS is Woody Allen’s latest film (currently in UK cinemas) and it stars Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Adrien Brody, Kathy Bates, Carla Bruni, Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen. I watched it last night and thought it was very strange. It starts off in typical-Allen fashion, but the story quickly runs off into a fantastical and magical Paris of the past. The film’s opening sequence instantly made me yearn to go back to the city that I adore so much. To be honest, the whole film made me very nostalgic and Allen wonderfully fuses the light-hearted romance and comedy with Paris’ effortless enchantment. It’s definitely one to watch (especially if you’re into Woody Allen’s films, but if you’re not, I’m sure you’ll be entertained too!).

Karlie Kloss
is a force to be reckoned with. She is unstoppable. At only 19 years of age, she has already done campaigns for everyone from Dior, Express and Topshop to Chloe, Marc Jacobs and Oscar de la Renta. She’s appeared in just about every fashion magazine and has rocked the runway for countless designers. She’s currently ranked No. 4 on models.com’s ‘Top 50 Models’ and I think she’s only going to continue going from strength to strength. She’s awesome and flyyyyy.
