Scouts Shouts #12

Last week I didn’t post a SCOUTS SHOUTS, so this week = a double dose. So, today = the twelfth issue of SCOUTS SHOUTS, where I blog about my favourite song of the week, my album of the week, film of the week…you get the idea. Be sure to check back every Thursday to see what’s hot that week.

Album of the week

This week, everyone is listening to Jay-Z & Kanye’s “Watch The Throne”. Check out my review/thoughts on it HERE. There are some serrrrious tunes.

Songs of the week

This week, I’ve been bumping a bit of Blake, James Blake. Below is my favourite song of his…

Will Young’s “Who Am I” is beaut too.

Crushes of the week

Erin Heatherton

is a stunner. She is a VS Angel, but has also appeared in numerous campaigns including Lacoste, John Galliano Lingerie and Armani Jeans.

and as this is a double dose of SCOUTS SHOUTS, I’ve got to put in another crush of mine, who is straight up unreal.

Stacey Dash

is the one. Period. She is in her own league.

Film of the week

This week, I’ve opted to blog about a film that I want to see. THE HELP stars Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer & Bryce Dallas Howard and hit US cinemas this week. The UK will have to wait a while to see it, but for now check out an interview with two of the film’s stars.

Female model of the week

Nyasha

LOVE #6
F/W 11.12

Photographed by Mert & Marcus
Styled by Panos Yiapanis & Katie Grand

Nyasha is relatively new to the game, but has already made a name for herself, having appeared on the pages of i-D, V, Teen Vogue and Wonderland. If that wasn’t enough, she’s now in LOVE (pictured above), and she fronts the latest Topshop campaign, which is photographed by Josh Olins (pictured below). Throw in the fact that she had a great show season – she walked for Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney & both the Dior and Giambattista Valli Couture shows – and well, she’s pretty much unstoppable! Go Nyasha!

Male model of the week

Sebastian Sauvé

Above: Sebastian is photographed by Anthony Meyer for Fiasco - The Raw Issue. Below: He’s snapped by Christian Oita for Clash Magazine.

With representation in London, Paris, Milan, New York, Berlin & Brussels, the American-born model has just about every base covered. He has rocked the runway for countless designers and appeared in campaigns for the likes of Zara, Stone Island, Just Cavalli and Frankie Morello. His editorial credits include i-D, Esquire, GQ Italia, V Magazine, Carbon Copy and Vogue Hommes Japan. Sauvé is pretty damn suave.
