Today = the eighth issue of SCOUTS SHOUTS, where I blog about my favourite song of the week, my album of the week, film of the week…you get the idea. Be sure to check back every Thursday to see what’s hot that week.
Album of the week
I’ve been bumping R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece this week. There are too many JOINTS on it including of course, DROP IT LIKE IT’S HOT, LET’S GET BLOWN, PASS IT PASS IT and SIGNS (ft Charlie Wilson and JT).
Song of the week
Such a beautiful song from a wonderfully FANTASTIC film.

Crush of the week
I saw her in concert last weekend and she hasn’t aged a bit. She looked radiant.
And damn she can DANCE just as good as she used to. The photos below are from Harper’s Bazaar.
Film of the week
I finally watched INSIDE JOB, a documentary film about the financial crisis of 2007–2010 directed by Charles H. Ferguson, and boy oh boy was it a great watch. I was literally gripped from start to finish. Kudos to Matt Damon for narrating the film which is frighteningly clear on its stance against deregulation. Bold move. It is (and I quote), ‘a complex story told exceedingly well’. The film won Best Documentary Feature at this year’s Academy Awards and deservedly so.
Female model of the week
She needs no introduction.
Ms Naomi Campbell
First two photos below are from Love Magazine’s S/S 2010 issue, snapped by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The next two are from Vogue Russia and shot by Tom Munro.
Male model of the week
has modelled for the likes of Calvin Klein (pictured below), Trussardi, Massimo Dutti & Loewe and been featured in numerous magazines including Details, V Man, V, L’Uomo Vogue, Man About Town & GQ Japan. This dude from Delaware has quite the portfolio.
