I watched the film a few days ago.

Directed by Anton Corbijn, the film itself is an adaptation of the novel A Very Private Gentleman by Martin Booth. George Clooney = Jack, an assassin.

Deliberately slow-paced.

It didn’t excite me.

There’s an ‘old-style-movie’ essence to it.

Stylish.

I don’t want to say it’s an uneventful film, but there isn’t a lot going on. There are some beautiful shots and Clooney delivers a great performance, but as a character, there isn’t all that much growth and I couldn’t help but feel slightly underwhelmed by it as a a whole.
