One to watch: SKY FERREIRA

I’ve been hearing on and off about this girl for a while now, but hadn’t heard much of her music and then when I did hear some, I liked it, but it sort of drifted to the back of my mind as I got newer tracks and started getting lost in the worlds of the latest albums…

BUT

after her promo single ’17′ was released earlier this year, she came back onto my radar and then BAM, her lead European single “ONE” was literally the one to make me go “ok, this chick is in it to win it”. Think Ellie Goulding meets Robyn meets Britney,…she’s kind of like what Diana Vickers wishes she was. Scott Mills, Radio 1, picked it as his record of the week and rightly so, ‘cos it’s catchy as hell! The 18 yr old singer who is working with the likes of Bloodshy & Avant and Frankmusik is set for big things. It also helps that Ms Ferreira looks like a model. Hmm…I predict that when her debut album drops next year, she’ll do very well. She’ll go far.
