Love and Other Impossible Pursuits. Hesher. Your Highness. Black Swan
Natalie Portman has been a busy bee eh?! With several films (listed above) set to be released this year and with “Hesher” creating buzz at Sundance, Ms. Portman is definitely SCHMOKING right now in Hollywood. Peep a preview clip of HESHER below…
George Clooney – Humanitarian. Love his performance in “Fantastic Mr. Fox” and I think “Up In The Air” is a great film – I had no expectations so I was really happy when it turned out to be a real treat – Clooney’s acting = BAM.
Clooney’s co-star in “Fantastic Mr. Fox” = Meryl Streep – when is this woman not hot in Hollywood? She is always on point – her acting chops are second to none and yet again she has had a wonderfully successful year and I’m sure she will continue to deliver for many more years to come. She recently won a Golden Globe for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy with her perfomance in “Julie & Julia”.
The Lovely Bones = drama
The Other Guys = action.comedy
Date Night = even more haha
The Fighter = serious film
Seems like he’s going to be in a film this year that covers pretty much every genre…Ha. I like this actor. I think he’s got a lot to offer and is very talented.
His daughter in Peter Jackson’s “The Lovely Bones” is played by Saoirse Ronan. Okay, not only is she the eleventh youngest person to be nominated for an Academy Award and the seventh youngest to be nominated for Best Supporting Actress, but hot off a beautifully innocent performance in “The Lovely Bones”, Ms. Ronan stars in the new film “The Way Back” set to drop later this year, in which she plays Irena, a young Polish girl on the run who meets up with fugitives from a Siberian gulag in 1942 – *wow long sentence over*.
Leonardo DiCaprio – it’s no secret that I’m a big Leo fan. Those who have been fortunate enough to attend early screenings of “Shutter Island” are hailing Leo’s performance as Oscar-worthy.
And if she wasn’t the only young actress to be doing well, Dakota Fanning is sure to have another great year. This young actress is so gifted. I always think she does justice to the characters she portrays in all her films…from “Push” to “The Secret Life Of The Bees” to “Uptown Girls”…I’m like -
how is she so good?!
As Cherie Currie of The Runaways in the film of the same name and the third installment of the Twilight franchise – “Eclipse” (which both happen to also star Kristen Stewart) – 2010 is going to be a GREAT start to the decade for her! Peep an exclusive clip of her and Kristen Stewart in “The Runaways” below.
