The American Music Awards went down last night at LA’s Nokia Theatre.

Alicia Keys took to the stage and performed “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart”

I really like this song, more so after that performance. She also sang with Jay-Z, performing the hit “Empire State of Mind”, currently No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100!

Rihanna, Shakira, The Black Eyed Peas and Adam Lambert also all performed.

Taylor Swift walked away with 5 awards including Artist of the Year, but the best part of the night for me was when Janet opened the show. Her performance was SICK. Just watch.
